The Littlewoods Ireland Camogie Leagues are currently in full swing, and the players have been working extremely hard on the pitch and off. Although we’re used to seeing these talented ladies in their county gear, we wanted to know a little bit about what they like to wear when they’re not playing.
Galway’s Rebecca Hennelly gave us an insight into her own personal style, and what she looks for in a fab outfit. It’s a huge honour for Rebecca to dawn the the Galway maroon and white, but when heading out with her friends she likes to leave the kit at home.
Do you ever find it hard to express your own style when you spend most of your time in training gear?
If you’re heading on a night our, what do you like to wear?
Do you follow trends or do you just go with what you feel good in?
“I go with what I feel good in and what I think looks nice.”
Is comfort a factor you consider with your clothes choices?
“Yes and no. If it looks nice and I’m uncomfortable I’ll still go with it!”
What is the one item in your wardrobe you can’t live without?
“I’d probably have to go with nice tops.”
Are there any Irish celebrities that you look to for Irish style?
“I suppose bloggers, they give me loads of ideas.”
