Everyone loves a long weekend, right?  But we reckon the August Bank Holiday Weekend is the best of all the bank holiday weekends!  “Why’s that?” we hear you ask.  Well, because no matter your interests, there’s a festival happening for you!  Whether you want to pack up your car and head off with your mates for the weekend, or just spend a day soaking up the very best of Irish talent, it’s entirely up to you!

All Together Now

All Together Now is a brand new festival, in the stunning surroundings of Curraghmore Estate is Ireland’s largest private estate, in Co Waterford.  Expect a wonderful weekend of music, spoken word, theatre, comedy, debate, art and workshops.  Headline acts include Fleet Foxes, Underworld, Roisin Murphy and Chaka Khan to name but a few.  Nab your tickets to this amazing weekend now!


Known for being one of the most relaxed and intimate of all of the festivals in Ireland, Castlepalooza offers a super chill weekend in one of the most beautiful festival sites in the country: Charleville Castle, Co Offaly.  It’s also known to bring together an eclectic mix of homegrown artists, and some of the best food vendors in the country.  You’ll go for the artists, but you’ll return for the food!  Get your tickets now!


Since its first festival in 2006, Indiependence has grown into one of Ireland’s biggest and most loved events, in the idyllic setting at the foot of the Galtee Mountains.  This year the festival is to play host to a stellar line-up, including Walking On Cars, Primal Scream and Jake Bugg.  If this sounds like your kind of vibe, get your tickets asap!


Beatyard is back in Dun Laogharie Harbour, with arguably their best lineup to date.  This year’s festival is jam packed with musical talent such as The Jacksons, Jenny Greene, Little Dragon, Orbital, Sugarhill Gang, and loads more!  There’ll be over 100 food vendors from all over the country, cooking demos and food competitions.  Brewtonic will be there, showcasing over 20 craft beers, wine, gin, rum and whisky bars.
