Just in time for Halloween, we have the rundown on one of the season’s most highly anticipated releases, The Last Witch Hunter – a spooky themed action flick starring Vin Diesel, opens in cinemas this week. Yay! It’s just not Halloween if you don’t have a new movie to get scared by. And this one is set to be amazing. We can’t wait to see how it fairs on the scare-o-meter.
To celebrate, Littlewoods Ireland are showing you how you can dress like the stars of The Last Witch Hunter (the girls, not the muscular bald man) on a strict budget. I’m talking gorgeous long evening dresses that are great for this time of year. Here are our top celeb-inspired looks:
Every season needs a staple black dress, and Halloween is no exception. This strapless, leather Myleene Klass Leather Maxi Dress with pleat detail is just perfect for Halloween and the winter months too.
Like Lotte Verbeek’s black dress which she wore at the Hope For Children gala? You can team it with some lovely jewellery like this Tassel Necklace and Earring Set and this cute Little Mistress Clutch Bag. Add on these textured Wallis Snake Print Platform Sandal and you’re got a contemporary, neutral look that’s still a little bit edgy (which is perfect for the witching season).
I absolutely adore the long black gown which Dawn Olivieri wore to the Environmental Media Awards. For something similarly elegant, try this brand new Isla Bandeau Sequin Maxi Dress from Forever Unique while accentuating the sheer class of the outfit by adding this Golden Cuff & Necklace Combo. Pair it with this neat Little Mistress Clutch Bag and wear these great Block Heel T-Bar Sandals from Paper Dolls. This simple “anytime” look could be worn to winter weddings, family parties and for cosy dinner meet ups with your friends.
For a look like the one Rose Leslie wore to the Game of Thrones season premiere, opt for this vibrant and energetic Samantha Faiers Backless Maxi Dress. Green and gold is a wonderful combination (extra great if you’re from Leitrim, Donegal or Kerry! Though I’m not sure if this is the most appropriate ensemble to wear to a GAA match?!), so add on some glitzy gold accessories.
This Cut Out Detail Cuff is gorgeous. And for a handbag and shoes, go for these matching Glitter Panel Envelope Clutch and Heel Peep Toe Court Shoes by Shoe Box. This look is perfect to re-wear for Christmas work parties after Halloween.
