Serves: 9

Homemade Brownie Recpie

110g melted butter

300g caster sugar

170g melted chocolate

3 medium eggs

25g cocoa powder

140g of flour

50g dark chocolate chips

¼ teaspoon of salt

Preheat the oven to 180c

Line an 8″ baking tin

Melt butter and chocolate together and allow to cool slightly

Add sugar and combine

Add eggs and combine

Add cocoa powder

Fold in flour & salt and combine

Add the chocolate chips and mix them through using a spatula.

Pour the mixture into the tin and spread it out evenly using a spatula, making sure evenly spread

Bake for 30-35 minutes, until the brownies have a slight crust on top.

Leave the brownie to cool in the tin before cutting it up into squares to serve.

If the little ones are giving you a helping hand with this recipe, you can always finish off these brownies with some decorations on top.  Just for that little bit of extra fun for the kiddies!  They may even enjoy these brownies even more then – if it’s possible!

Now all you have to do is pop on the kettle and enjoy a brownie (or two!) with a cuppa!  These tasty brownies make for the ultimate after dinner treat.  Of course, even though it’s the perfect time to indulge in your favourite sweet treats, we also need a tasty dinner.  Particularly on cold evenings, the perfect heartwarming meal has to be a stew!  If you’re looking for an easy, yet delicious dinner, check out our Slow Cooker Beef Stew recipe.
