Today officially marks National Dessert Day! Honestly, is there a better day? We don’t think so! To celebrate, we’re whipping up a batch of these super-easy, delicious brownies! This recipe is simple enough so that the little ones can join in on the baking too, so it’s an all-round pleaser!
110g melted butter
300g caster sugar
170g melted chocolate
3 medium eggs
25g cocoa powder
140g of flour
50g dark chocolate chips
¼ teaspoon of salt
Preheat the oven to 180c
Line an 8″ baking tin
Melt butter and chocolate together and allow to cool slightly
Add sugar and combine
Add eggs and combine
Add cocoa powder
Fold in flour & salt and combine
Add the chocolate chips and mix them through using a spatula.
Pour the mixture into the tin and spread it out evenly using a spatula, making sure evenly spread
Bake for 30-35 minutes, until the brownies have a slight crust on top.
Leave the brownie to cool in the tin before cutting it up into squares to serve.
