Here’s a few of our favourites that you can whip up for less than €5 per person.

Chickpea burgers

This recipe incorporates a lot of things you’ll probably have in the back of the press by the time payday comes around, such as spices, garlic and a tin of chickpeas.

It serves eight, but can obviously be tailored to your needs.

A family favourite, this dish can be prepared in under ten minutes and ticks all the boxes in terms of nutrition.
