In this installment of ‘Five Minutes With‘ we caught up with Clare camogie player Orlaith Duggan. As part of our sponsorship of the Littlewoods Ireland Camogie Leagues we wanted to get to know some of the ladies behind the helmets through a quick fire round of questioning.

We asked Orlaith about life off the pitch and learned some fun facts along the way. She’s a romantic comedy fan, loves Italian food and even recently travelled to Rome.

“I’m waiting for the new series of Power to come back. I was behind everyone else watching it and now I’m just eagerly awaiting the next series.”

Favourite movie of all time?

“I’m a sucker for The Notebook!”

Ultimate food guilty pleasure?

“Ohhh that’s tough. I love lasagne.”

Favourite gym exercise?

“I’ll go with box jumps.”

Least favourite gym exercise?

“Anything core based.”

“Never a failure, always a lesson.”

What’s your favourite emoji?

“The one with the smirking face. I love that one!”

Tell us a weird fact about yourself?

“I’m fluent in Irish, not very weird but there you go!”

“Tea in the morning and then coffee in the afternoon.”

What would be your ideal day off?

“Ok well I’d wake up, go out for breakfast, followed by coffee. Then if it was warm I’d go for a walk on the beach. Literally do nothing but eat and drink- that would be my ideal day!”

Where was the last place you travelled to?

“I went to Rome recently for a weekend.”
