With the Littlewoods Ireland Camogie Leagues well underway, we caught up with Waterford player Brianna O’Regan. Although best known for her camogie skills, we got to know a different side to the player as she told us all about her superstitious side, her love of basketball and how she raises greyhounds.
Happy New Year! Have you any resolutions for 2018?
“I suppose my New Year’s resolution is to just get fit and be on the top of my game so that I can be playing the best that I can be.”
Are you watching anything on Netflix at the moment?
“I just finished Designated Survivor. It was fair scary now!”
Favourite movie of all time?
“It would have to be Titanic. A classic!”
Ultimate food guilty pleasure?
“Eating an entire jar of Nutella!”
Favourite gym exercise?
“I’d say the shoulder press.”
Least favourite gym exercise?
“Burpees all the way. I hate them!”
Inspirational quote that you live by?
“I’m here for a good time, not for a long time.”
What’s your favourite emoji?
“I’d go with the peace sign.”

“I have to be perfect in every way, because I’m superstitious.”
Tea or coffee?
What would your ideal day off look like?
“I have 12 greyhounds so I would probably train them with my grandfather. It’s a great hobby to have.”
Where was the last place you travelled to?
“France. I went over to play basketball over there, I was representing Ireland with my school.”
