It’s no secret that Ireland is home to some pretty amazing hotels and over the last few weeks, we’ve been looking at some of the best locations for a romantic weekend away, a spa break and a girly getaway.
Now, six of the country’s most stunning spots have been recognised at the World Trade Awards – a ceremony that is often considered the “Oscars of the travel and hospitality sectors”. Swanky, eh?
So, if you’ve been planning to treat yourself to a really nice break, these are probably a good place to start.
We’ll be using them as our own personal bucket list for the next few years!
Ireland’s leading hotel – Powerscourt Hotel Resort & Spa
Nestled in beside Powerscourt Estate, this is definitely one of the most beautiful spots in Ireland.
Ireland’s leading boutique hotel – Dromoland Castle
If you’ve ever been to Dromoland Castle, you’ll know what a truly majestical place it is.
Ireland’s leading business hotel – The Shelbourne Hotel
Located in the heart of Dublin city centre, this iconic hotel is a must visit. Even if it’s just to have a look!
Ireland’s leading hotel suite – The Presidential Suite at The Westbury
The presidential suite might be out of our budget but we might stretch to a coffee or a cocktail in this place.
Ireland’s leading luxury hotel – The Conrad, Dublin
Another gorge hotel in Dublin’s city centre – plush beds, incredible views and delish breakfasts.
Ireland’s leading spa resort – Inchydoney Island Lodge & Spa
One of the most stunning spots around, this one is located right on the beach. You could die happy here.
We better start saving!
