With Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom all set to become one of the biggest blockbuster movies ever released, there’s never been a better time to be a dinosaur fan. Here at Littlewoods Ireland, everyone is super excited to get more dinos in their lives and there’s no shortage of cool Jurassic World merch to take a look at. Here are our favourites!
Dinosaur Toys of All Shapes and Sizes
New to Fallen Kingdom is the ‘Indoraptor’ a scary new hybrid dinosaur that will be terrifying Chris Pratt and friends in the new movie. The Indoraptor action figure is great fun as it has more points of articulation than any toy in the Fallen Kingdom line, meaning you can pose it any way you like, on two legs or four – just like in the movie!
Fun Dino Fact: The Indoraptor is not a real dinosaur, but a genetically engineered hybrid created for the movie.
Another cool new dinosaur that will make its first Jurassic movie appearance in Fallen Kingdom is the croodile-snouted Baryonyx. The Roarivore Baryonyx toy features chomping action and electronic sounds, so you can recreate its epic movie moments and create new ones!

Fun Dino Fact: In real life, Baryonyx ate fish. We know this because scientists found scales in its belly.
Not every Jurassic World dinosaur is a meat-eater though. Fortunately, quite a few of them prefer to eat plants instead of people. That doesn’t make them pushovers though. The Roarivore Triceratops is fearsome when provoked, and can swing its three-horned head to ward off hungry predators and would be dinosaur poachers!

Fun Dino Fact: Triceratops lived at the same time and place as T. rex. Bite marks on Triceratops bones prove that T. rex sometimes ate Triceratops!
Of course, no Jurassic Park movie would be complete without a T. rex, and Fallen Kingdom has given us a fantastic Thrash n’ Throw Tyrannosaurus rex figure which can chomp, stomp and smash anything that gets in her way!

Fun Dino Fact: While not the biggest meat-eating dinosaur of all, T. rex is believed to have had the strongest bite.
Join the Raptor Pack!
What’s better than playing with dinosaurs? Becoming one! The Chomp and Roar Blue Raptor Mask lets your kids start their own raptor pack. With a secure adjustable strap, the Velociraptor‘s mouth will open when your child opens theirs, with snarling and hissing ‘raptor sounds for added effect!

Fun Dino Fact: In real life, Velociraptors were smaller than the ones shown in the Jurassic Park movies and also had feathers, just like a bird.
How to Build your own Jurassic Park
Everyone has dreams of building and living in their own Jurassic Park (some of us have even made plans…). While it may not be possible for us to clone real dinosaurs, we do have what we need to build our own little Jurassic World. Luckily, there are two ways to do it now.
The first is through the miracle that is LEGO. There are plenty of Jurassic World LEGO sets to choose from, but one of the best is the Blue’s Helicopter Pursuit set which includes a LEGO helicopter, dune buggy, 3 LEGO mini-figures (including Chris Pratt) and everyone’s favourite Velociraptor; Blue.
If you prefer to build things digitally instead of using bricks, then look no further than the Jurassic World: Evolution video game which s available on PS4 and Xbox One. Here you can build your dinosaur theme park from the ground up and populate it with all sorts of dinosaurs – this is the true Jurassic Park experience!
