Five fantastic movies that are on this Bank Holiday weekend!

One thing we’ll never be sure of is Irish weather.  We’ve learnt at this stage that we just can’t rely on the sunshine to appear!  But one thing we can be sure of this Bank Holiday weekend is that we’ll be taking some well deserved chill time with treats and a great movie!  Check out some of the great movies that are lined up on Irish TV this weekend.

Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb

Ben Stiller, Robin Williams and Owen Wilson are back for the jam-packed third instalment of Night at the Museum.  Keep up with the gang as they attempt to return an ancient Egyptian artefact, which causes the characters at the museum to come to life before the magic within the artefact disappears!

A fun-filled movie for the whole family to enjoy!

Annie

Ah, Annie, an old school favourite!  If you haven’t sat down with the kiddies yet to enjoy Annie, now is the time!  Follow Annie throughout this heartfelt musical as she is adopted into a wealthy, sing-song loving family who attempts to help her find her long-lost parents.

Britain’s Got Talent: The Final

If you’ve been following Britain’s Got Talent, you’ll know of the amazing acts that we’ve seen on stage this season.  From a father and son duo to jaw-dropping magicians, this finale promises to be a good one!  With something to enjoy for the whole family, it is sure to go down a treat.

When the Kiddies Head to Bed

Catch Me If You Can

An oldie, but a goodie.  Catch Me If You Can centres on Frank Abagnale, Jr., played by Leonardo DiCaprio, as he is on the run from FBI Agent Carl Hanratty, played by Tom Hanks.  Based on true events, you’ll be on the edge of your seat as you watch the events unfold.

Skyfall

The 23rd film in the James Bond series, Skyfall, is falling on to our screens this Bank Holiday Monday.  Thrilling moments from start to finish, as we follow the modernised James Bond as he strives to protect M and MI6.

When and where?  Monday at 09:30pm on RTE1.
