As you may have heard, the brilliant Gilmore Girls is making a long-awaited return later this year and the cast had some additional good news for fans today.
The drama, which charted the lives and loves of mother-daughter team Lorelai and Rory Gilmore, ran for seven seasons before it was cancelled in 2007 and has been sorely missed by devotees ever since.
It was recently announced that a new four-part revival will air on Netflix this November and if you’re new to the wonderful world of Stars Hollow, you’re in luck!
Actress Lauren Graham, who plays the fast-talking Lorelai, confirmed today that the first seven series will be available to watch on Netflix from this Friday 11 July – giving you the perfect opportunity to binge watch over the weekend.
The series was previously only available to Netflix users in the US so this is a very welcome development!
Producers are keeping the details of the upcoming season under wraps but we do know that each episode will revolve around a different season and all our old favourites including Logan (aka The Good Wife‘s Matt Czuchry), Luke (Scott Patterson), Jess (Milo Ventimiglia) and even Sookie (Bridesmaids‘ star Melissa McCarthy) will be making an appearance.
We may have seen all the previous episodes but we’ll still be catching up before the new ones land – roll on November!
