Point of Year from the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship

Over the bar!

Take your point!

In what was one of the most thrilling and competitive All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championships that we have seen in a long time, we are taking a look back at all the top standout moments from it.

The new format this year meant that were more matches and heaps more #StyleOfPlay action. We saw some fantastic points being hit like when TJ Reid hit a wonder point during the Leinster Final to equalize the game and force it to replay.

But there was one point that scored that stood out from the rest.

Peter Duggan v Galway

All-Ireland Senior Hurling Semi-Final

This has to be one of the best scores that we have ever seen. Clare‘s free-taker Peter Duggan had a brilliant campaign this summer with the Bannermen. This match was nail-biting and our nerves were so shaken, we could barely watch! But we would watch this piece of skill all day long.

Galway‘s defence line are notorious for not letting anything – or anyone – past them. With four defenders after him, watch how Duggan retains possession and bursts past them, to finish with an outstanding point. Standing ovation, please!
