This farm is a firm favourite with kids, but it comes into its own during Halloween. It is three hours packed with fun, including a Halloween show, House of Horrors, creepy creatures, pumpkin carving, chocolate apple decorating and more.

The event runs from 2pm to 5pm on Saturday 22nd, Sunday 23rd, Saturday 29th, Sunday 30th and Monday 31st October.

Ladyrath Pumpkin Patch, Navan

One of the best things about Halloween is pumpkin carving!

Pick and buy your pumpkin to be carved. The staff will even do the hard work of carving out your pumpkin, leaving you and the kids to design the face. Adults can relax and enjoy tea, coffee and nibbles, while kids carve their pumpkins, get their face painted, interact with pet animals and more.

The event runs from Saturday 29th October to Monday 31st October from 10.30pm to 4.30pm every day.

Tickets are €3 each, or you can get a family ticket for €10. You can buy your tickets here.

The Haunted Maze, Wicklow

This haunted maze sounds like so much fun! They tailor the times so that the earlier times are less scary for little ones, so it is great for a family with small kids. Older kids can also enjoy the maze, just pick a later start time!

Run through the maze and figure out the puzzles, dead ends, tricky traps and riddles. Get to the safe haven in the middle, win a glowing magic wand and drink the magic potion for protection as you fight off more monsters on the way out. Kids will love this one.

The event runs from October 23rd to November 1st every day from 4pm to 9pm.

Adult tickets are €8, children’s tickets €7 and kids under 2 go free. You can buy your tickets here.
