Watch: The #StyleOfPlay moment of the week from the All Ireland Senior Hurling Championship

We have the standout #StyleOfPlay moment of the week right here!

There was plenty of hurling action last weekend as the next stages of the Leinster and Munster Senior Championship got underway. As we enter our second year of sponsorship, we will be bringing you all the #StyleOfPlay and key moments from each weekend.

The #StyleOfPlay moment of the week

With a new format being introduced to the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship this year, it means that each weekend is jam-packed with hurling action!

So choosing a standout #StyleOfPlay moment for the week is definitely not an easy task for us at Littlewoods Ireland HQ.

A special mention has to be given to Limerick‘s Tom Morrissey. He scored a wonder point just before the half-time whistle, in their game against Cork on Saturday evening.

He tackled Cork’s Daniel Kearney to win the sliotar and brilliantly whack it over the bar to close Cork’s lead to only one point. A super lift for Limerick just before halftime.

Though ultimately, for us, the standout #StyleOfPlay moment of the week has to be Joe Canning‘s sideline cut point in Galway’s game against Wexford.

Hitting the ball at such a difficult angle, watch how Canning strikes in so it bends and lands between the two posts, scoring another point for Galway. A man of sublime skill!

Be sure to check out our blog next Monday, when we will have another winner of the #StyleOfPlay moment of the week!
