As Milan Fashion Week draws to a close today, we’re looking back on some of our favourite looks. Today also marks the end of fashion weeks around the globe, until the runways are aligned with spring/summer pieces yet again. As we’re going through a snow spell right here in Ireland, it’s almost perfect timing. As the catwalks are filled with autumn/winter looks, we can bring some of the elements into our everyday looks right now. We’ve taken a look at both NYFW and LFW, now let’s dive straight into MFW.
Sleek and Chic
Fendi filled the runway with sleek and chic looks. Complete with structured lines and boxy fitted pieces – the kind of looks that you could wear straight off the runway. Incorporate this style into your wardrobe right now, with this fabulous River Island beauty.
Leather will always be a favourite of ours. Whether it takes the form of a biker jacket, boots, skirts, you name it. Alberta Ferretti dawned this all black look, mixing textures and adding gold accessories. One of our absolute favourites! Steal the style by teaming a fabulous leather skirt with V by Very boots that you’ll just adore.
Monochrome will always be a fabulous addition to anyone’s wardrobe. It’s a go-to look for wintery days. At MFW, Dolce & Gabbana showcased a full monochrome look, complete with fringe detail and a red lip look. While we won’t be sporting the full check look from head to toe, this blazer is the perfect piece to kick off the look.
While we’re loving the creative looks from each fashion week, it’s great to see more wearable looks walking the catwalk too. Will you be incorporating some trends from MFW into your wardrobe? We’d love to know!
