The #StyleOfPlay moment of the week
As usual, picking a standout #StyleOfPlay moment of the week is never an easy task, but after the intense games of hurling that were played last weekend, it’s trickier than ever!
It was crunch time yesterday in Semple Stadium, Thurles as Clare and Tipperary clashed with each other. It was a game that was a pure treat for any hurling fan, full of twists and turns coming right down to the final wire.
Clare were trailing behind Tipperary for the majority of this game until this wonderous goal came from Ian Galvin and turned the game well and truly on its head. Originally it looked as though Tipp man Jake Morris was inside for goal but Clare were thrown a lifeline as his shot whacked off the bar and the Banner overturned the ball.
Watch how whilst under pressure, they race down the pitch and Ian Galvin slams the sliotar into the back of the net, bringing the Banner right back into the game and adding fire to their bellies! Superb!
