Not long to go now! Come Friday night we’ll all be flopped down in front of the TV and basically eating whatever we want with no guilt – it’s the Toy Show rules right? It’s pretty easy to get in a few goodies from the shop to munch on for the night, but why not make a few extra nice memories? It’s easily done. We’ve gathered up a few super simple recipes that would be perfect to get you in the festive mood for the Late Late Toy Show! So, call the kids to the kitchen, roll up your sleeves and get ready for some simple, festive treats!
These cute little Santa Clauses couldn’t be easier. Simply chop your strawberries and stick them together with cream, throw on some eyes and they’re done! They’re also not too bold, so it’s a win-win.
Stacked Christmas Tree Cookies
Make a batch of your favourite cookies, stack them together with some green icing and pop on some edible ‘decorations’ for some yummy 3D Christmas tree cookies. If you don’t feel like going for the homemade cookies, even pick out your favourites from the biscuit aisle and grab the icing. We won’t tell!
How adorable are these little snowmen? They couldn’t be simpler, ideal for little hands! Stack a few marshmallows on some skewer sticks, draw their face and arms with any icing that you pick up. Then, it’s time to enjoy!
