She tied the knot last week and now Whitney Port has given us our first glimpse at her dress from the big day.
The Hills star married boyfriend Tim Rosenman in a ceremony in Palm Springs last Saturday and wore a unusual long-sleeved gown, with a waterfall hemline and long train.
The dress was designed by Ashi Studio, with Muhammed Ashi telling Us Weekly that it was inspired by a vintage chandelier.
“At the start, Whitney saw a dress from the latest couture collection and she got inspired for an idea for her wedding dress. It was inspired by a vintage chandelier from Venice and Florence.”
According to the magazine, the embroidery featured small off-white pearls and the dress was a hit with Port’s new husband who described her as “spectacular”.
“She looked amazing and her dress was so spectacular. There was so much buildup to what her dress was going to look like because we kept it secret. I didn’t think it could possibly match the buildup, but I was blown away. She looked fantastic.”
The reality star opted for a pared-back approach to her hair and make-up to let her gown do all the talking.
She’s not the first to opt for a non-traditional wedding dress, with former co-star Oliver Palermo also choosing to take a different approach to her look for the big day.
Style maven Palermo chose a three-piece ensemble by Carolina Herrera, consisting of a cream cashmere sweater, white shorts and flowing tulle skirt.
