The Ultimate Ed Sheeran Playlist to Get You Pumped for This Weekend

Our top ten Ed Sheeran songs of all time ahead of his Phoenix Park gig this weekend! Did your favourite make the cut? Let us know!

Ed Sheeran is roughly half-way through his stint here in Ireland, selling out gigs all over the country.  Ahead of his gig this weekend in the Phoenix Park in Dublin, we’re listening to nothing but Ed to get us in the mood.

Here are our top ten tunes from the UK star.

10. Lego House

An oldie, but a goodie, will we ever forget the iconic video starring Rupert Grint?

9. Small Bump

I’m not crying, you’re crying!

8. You Need Me I Don’t Need You

If you haven’t seen Ed perform this on his own using a loop pedal, check out the video below – you’re in for a treat!

7. Give Me Love

From the album +, we had this on repeat for pretty much all of 2011.  Our fave version has to be this acoustic one!

6. Thinking Out Loud

On possibly every bride-to-be’s wedding playlist since its debut in 2014, the video is as captivating as the song.

5. I See Fire

Probably his most quintessentially Irish-sounding song (Galway Girl, aside of course, but we’ll get to that!) is I See Fire from The Hobbit soundtrack.

4. Perfect

Ed’s newest single, and what a single it is.  Some might even say, “it’s perfect”, but we’d never be that cheesy!

3. Galway Girl

You didn’t think we were going to forget about Galway Girl, did you?  Shot on the streets of Galway City (naturally), starring our very own Saoirse Ronan.

2. The A-Team

The A-Team was Ed’s first single, and shot him to stardom.  Rumour has it that he shot the whole video on a budget of £20.  But don’t take our word for it.  Check it out!

1. Shape of You

It’s no wonder that our number one top spot goes to the most streamed song of 2017, and most played song on Spotify EVER – Shape of You.  So grab your pals, turn up your volume and enjoy!

Fiona Hyland

Fiona loves nothing more than discovering new cities, brunch on Sundays, and a good documentary. If you don't find her cooking up a storm in the kitchen, you'll find her in an interiors store, feeding her very real blanket addiction.
