‘If I go to sleep right now, I’ll get 6 hours sleep… 5 hours 55 minutes…’
We’ve all been there, tossing and turning, over-thinking how much sleep we’re going to get and dragging our tired selves out of bed the next day, exhausted.
We’re all very much aware that we’ve been told we need on average eight hours of sleep a night, but what if it wasn’t the amount of hours sleep you get, rather it is the number of sleep cycles that you squeeze into your sleep that is important.
Introducing the sleep calculator. This little trick will calculate the exact time you should fall asleep, if you know what time you have to get up at in the morning.
According to the scientific tool if you have to wake up at 6am you must go asleep at 8.46pm or 10.16pm to leave yourself feeling the most rested and refreshed.
If you’re going to bed without a set wake up time, it will also tell you what time is best to wake up at.
